Tibb-e-Nabawi

Tibb-e-Nabawi (Prophetic Medicine):
Cure: +3
Treat: +6
Improve: +5
Worsen: +4
Prolong: +1

According to Tibb-e-Nabawi, to stay awake:
1) Drink (coffee + ice + cinnamon powder) - sugar is optional
2) Drink (green tea + ice + cinnamon powder)

Tibb-e-Nabawi’s Guidance on Drinks:
1) Drink honey with cold water (especially on an empty stomach)
2) Drink honey with cold water and vinegar (if you suffer from bile)
3) Have sweet and cold drinks
4) Avoid warm water that produces flatulence and is not healthy
5) Drink water that is kept overnight, as its earthly and sandy pollutants will rest in the
     bottom
6) Drink whilst sitting down. Don’t drink whilst standing as it is harmful to us.
7) Drink undiluted milk or milk mixed with water
8) Ice harms the stomach and nervous system, so drink cool or chilled water and not
iced cold water. If you have toothache, ice is beneficial (to be kept under the teeth)
9) Don’t drink water soon after you wake up, after sex, taking a bath or eating fruit
10) There is no harm in drinking water while eating, but not excessively
11) Cold water is better than warm water inside the body. Old warm water is better
       than fresh warm water.
12) Cold water helps digestion. Warm water doesn’t help digestion.
13) Warm water is however good for old people and those suffering from epilepsy,
cold headaches and inflammation of the eye.
14) One should avoid drinking iced cold water after a bath, having sex, sports activity,
eating hot foods, when coughing and having chest pains, weak liver and cool
       tempers
15) ZamZam Water or Pure Water is the best water to be drunk
16) Taking a bath in saltwater helps relieve many illnesses and infections that appear
on the skin. Drinking saltwater is harmful though, it causes diarrhoea, weakens
the body and causes rashes, mange and thirst.
17) Salt is very beneficial to us, as long as it is not drunk by us with water. There are
four blessings that Allah has sent down to Earth from the Heavens: iron, fire,
water and salt. Salt cleanses the teeth, prevents then from decaying, strengthens
the gums and makes them firm.
